Dana Al Meer

Singer, composer, and actress Dana Al Meer is a leading voice in Qatar’s contemporary music scene. She skillfully blends national traditions with modern sounds, having showcased Qatari culture at the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the 2023 Asian Cup, where she performed her original track The Lost Chapter of Kalilah & Demnah.

As director of Music Lab Qatar – a music institute established under the patronage of Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani – Dana oversees music projects, nurtures young talent, and promotes cultural education.

Dana Al Meer embodies Qatar’s commitment to fostering global dialogue through music and humanitarian values.

Khalid Al-Salem

Composer, arranger, and director of the Center for Musical Affairs at the Qatari Ministry of Culture. He is a key representative of the musical community of his country. He combines traditional Eastern sounds with modern compositional techniques.

Khalid is behind a number of large-scale cultural projects, having led several runs of the Qatar Song Festival and three seasons of the Nagham competition for young performers, creating musical identities for national institutions. His works are featured at major state events and international venues, and he represents Qatar in the International Music Council (IMC).

For Al-Salem, music is a form of cultural dialogue. His participation in the Intervision jury underscores Qatar’s aspiration to be part of the global musical movement and exchange of values through art.
