On July 20, members of the Russian delegation for the International Music Contest “Intervision” attended VK Fest in Moscow.
A panel discussion dedicated to the upcoming International Music Contest “Intervision” took place at the festival’s lecture hall, featuring composer, producer, and People’s Artist of Russia and a member of the International Professional Jury of “Intervision” Igor Matvienko; singer and Contest Ambassador Klava Koka; journalist, showman, and Creative Director of “Intervision” Andrey Razygrayev; Honored Artist of Russia SHAMAN (Yaroslav Dronov), who will represent Russia at the International Music Contest “Intervision” as well as the music video director for contest entry “STRAIGHT TO THE HEART” Elvin Fomin. Journalist and TV host Yana Churikova moderated the event.
“Russia has extensive experience in hosting international music events”, Igor Matvienko noted. “Our goal is to make the Contest not just about spectacular performances, but also about enabling professionals to connect and collaborate on creative projects. I am confident that the current ‘Intervision’ format will help create strong connections that will develop new musical traditions.”
To mark VK Fest’s 10th anniversary, SHAMAN presented organizers with a unique gift: a VK “Spotty the Dog” mascot featuring exclusive branding from the International Music Contest “Intervision.” He also extended an invitation to the Contest’s final, which will take place on September 20, 2025, at Moscow’s Live Arena.
