Singer Farrukh Hasanov from Tajikistan will perform at the International Music Contest “Intervision” with the song “Burn!”. The music was written by Farrukh himself, and the lyrics were created together with the artist NataN Dushevno.
“The song ‘Burn!’ is about the eternal search for love and inner light. I put my personal experience of searching for my own happiness and the understanding that light can be found not only in the external world but also within oneself into the composition,” says Farrukh Hasanov.
The lyrical lines tell a story about how important it is not to lose faith and to keep searching, even when all seems lost. The musical arrangement combines elements of pop and soulful indie, conveying a sense of coziness and warmth. Melodic guitar parts intertwine with tender yet powerful vocals, creating a unique atmosphere.
