Renowned Tajik composer and conductor Amirbek Musoev, Chairman of the Composers’ Union of Tajikistan, will serve as Tajikistan’s music expert on the International Professional Jury panel at the “Intervision” International Music Contest.
Amirbek Musoev is the creator of numerous large-scale musical works, including operas, ballets, and concert pieces. All his work is distinguished by an original and recognizable personal style. The golden archive of Tajik Radio preserves over 300 songs and melodies composed by him. He is notably the author of the Anthem of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).
Throughout his career, Musoev has held leadership roles at the Tajik State Philharmonic and the National Conservatory of Tajikistan. He has conducted orchestras and led the editorial board for music programs at national television and radio.
Additionally, Musoev has mentored over 150 students, many of whom has achieved significant success in their creative endeavors. As a musical director and composer, he has played a pivotal role in organizing and executing republican and international cultural, historical, and festive events.
Amirbek Musoev’s profound contributions to Tajikistan’s professional music scene have been recognized with state awards, prizes, and honorary titles. His achievements have been recognized with state awards and the honorary titles of People’s Artist and Honored Artist of Tajikistan.
