Ahmed Karkanavi is a multifaceted musician, composer, producer, and poet. Ahmed received his primary education at Notre Dame University in Beirut, Lebanon, where he became an expert in musicology and ethnomusicology. Thanks to his talent and unique creativity, Karkanavi achieved widespread recognition and, in 2006, was awarded a prestigious Arab prize for his musical works.
Even after dedicating 12 years to a career in advertising and the creative industries, Karkhanawi never lost sight of his greatest love: music.
Returning to music professionally, Ahmed Karkhanawi became a producer for the Saudi Music Commission. He continues to write music, and is also a talented poet with two published books.
