On July 20th, MUZ-TV premiered SHAMAN (Yaroslav Dronov) music video for the song “STRAIGHT TO THE HEART” during its daytime broadcast. Performed by SHAMAN, the song is Russia’s official entry to the International Music Contest “Intervision”.
“This video is an attempt to find the meaning of life,” SHAMAN shared. “But the answer is simple: love. The visuals are cinematic, with a cosmic feel. It’s as if we captured the whole universe in one frame. I’m sure viewers will connect with that.”
Filming took place in early July in Moscow. As Elvin Fomin noted, his team was aware of the great responsibility placed on them, as the work had to meet the standards of an international contest. The director expressed hope that the idea of the video would be understood by a foreign audience, as the team and the artist tried to convey the meaning through emotions. To get the video’s message across to all viewers, Elvin Fomin added an original touch: in the final frames, the word “love” is written in the languages of all countries participating in the contest.

More than 20 countries from BRICS, the CIS, Latin America, Asia, and Africa will take part in the competition. The “Intervision” final will be held on September 20 at Moscow’s Live Arena venue.
