Igor Matvienko, a composer, producer, and People’s Artist of Russia, will represent Russia on the International Professional Jury of the “Intervision” Music Contest.

I will evaluate the performances as objectively as possible, focusing on vocal mastery, artistry, and originality. I am convinced that ‘Intervision’ will not only discover new stars but also forge strong creative ties that promote cultural exchange and the development of new musical traditions,” commented Igor Matvienko.
Igor Matvienko is one of the most influential figures in the Russian music industry, the creator and producer of landmark creative projects, including the ethno-opera Prince Vladimir and the international Russian-language song contest “AvtorA!”, as well as the author of a huge number of musical works, many of which have become national hits.
Together with colleagues from the countries whose musicians will compete for victory in this year’s “Intervision,” Igor Matvienko will participate in the finalvoting to determine the winner of the competition.
According to the “Intervision” Competition Regulations, the International Professional Jury consists of members of the national juries who will come to Moscow as part of their countries’ delegations. A member of the national jury must be a cultural figure from their country (producer, performer, composer, musician, educator, etc.) recognized as a professional in the music industry. On September 20, the International Professional Jury will determine the winner of “Intervision” through voting during the final.
This year, the competition will feature participants from BRICS, CIS, Latin American, Asian, and African countries. The “Intervision’25” final will take place on September 20 at the Live Arena in Moscow.
