Olga Shlyager – General Producer of the National State Television and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus. Her career is a vivid example of rapid professional growth from a regional journalist to the head of the country’s leading media holding.
Her journey began with a degree in pedagogy; yet, in 2002, she enrolled in the Belarusian State University of Arts. Her first steps in the profession were taken at the Mogilev Center for Culture, where she successively held the positions of department head, lead specialist, and artistic director. Simultaneously, Olga Shlyager mastered the role of a TV presenter on the regional channel “Mogilev 2”.
In 2004, a new, capital-city chapter of her biography began. Moving to Minsk, Olga joined the team of the CTV channel as a correspondent and host of the program “Minshchina”. By 2006, her talent and professionalism led to an invitation to the Belarusian Television and Radio Company for the position of special correspondent, where she also hosted the morning show “Dobray ranitsy, Belarus!”
Her career growth continued in 2007 with her appointment to the position of Executive Producer of the “LAD” TV channel. Her producer portfolio included “LADnoye utro” (“Good Morning LAD”), “Belorusskoye vremechko” (“Belarusian Time”), and a number of documentaries.
From 2012 to 2013, Olga Shlyager held the post of Director of the “Belarus 2” TV channel, and from 2014 – Deputy Director of the “Belarus 1” TV channel. In this responsible role, she served as the head of the national selection for “Eurovision. Belarus” and the producer of the inspiring project “Ya mogu!” (“I can!”).
Since October 2016, as Deputy General Producer of the “General Producer Center” company, she led the creation and airing of key projects for Belarusian television, including “Dobry vecher!” (“Good Evening!”), “Dobray ranitsy, Belarus!” (“Good Morning, Belarus!”), the intellectual show “Ya znayu!” (“I Know!”), as well as the popular TV competitions “Faktor.by” and “Faktor.by 60+”.
This year, 23 countries will take part in the International Music Contest “Intervision”, including BRICS nations, CIS countries, Latin America, the Middle East, and the USA. The contest final will be held on September 20, 2025, at the “Live Arena” venue in Moscow.
