Composer, producer, multiple award winner, and one of Russia’s most influential music figures, Maxim Fadeev, has written the song that SHAMAN will perform as Russia’s entry at the International Music Contest Intervision 2025″.
Maxim Fadeev has represented Russia on global stages many times before, both as a producer and songwriter. His work has earned international acclaim, and his ability to convey emotion through music has made his songs a part of the cultural fabric for multiple generations. While working on the song for the revived “Intervision” contest, Fadeev created several versions, each with a completely different mood, ultimately choosing the one with the right emotional direction. «I enjoyed working on this because it was a challenging task. And when there’s a challenge—I love that» the composer noted.
This is not the first collaboration between Fadeev and Yaroslav Dronov (SHAMAN). «I’ve worked with Maxim Fadeev’s music many times before, and I can say that his compositions always exist at the boundary between the real world and the divine,» SHAMAN commented on his experience working with the composer.
