From the Pushkin Museum to Zaryadye Park: “Intervision” Participants Got Acquainted with Moscow’s Cultural Heritage

A rich excursion program in Moscow has been organized for the artists and delegations of the International Music Contest “Intervision”, offering them a chance to experience the city’s history, cultural diversity, and iconic landmarks.

“The main goal of ‘Intervision’ is to create a platform where art sounds louder than any disagreement, which helps build bridges of trust between nations. We strived to ensure that all participants experienced Moscow’s hospitality and left with cherished memories of Russia, in addition to any awards,” noted the organizers of “Intervision”.

The busy schedule of events includes visits to key attractions of the city. The guests took a walking sightseeing tour of the historical center, admired the majestic ensemble of Red Square with the mighty cathedrals of the Kremlin and learned about the centuries-old history of Russia at the State Historical Museum.

A visit to Zaryadye Park, including a walk across the famous “Floating Bridge” with its unique views of the Kremlin, particularly impressed the guests. Participants also experienced the spirit of creativity at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts.

VDNH provided a glimpse into Russia’s scale and multinational character, with a tour of the exhibition grounds, the Druzhba Narodov fountain, and its legendary pavilions.

The contestants saw the scale and multinational nature of Russia at VDNH, where they were given a tour of the exhibition grounds, an introduction to the famous Druzhba Narodov fountain and legendary pavilions. In addition, the delegations visited the newest and most modern site of the country – the National Center “Russia”.

A deeply emotional moment of the program was a visit to the Victory Museum on Poklonnaya Hill, a place that preserves the memory of the heroic deeds of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War.

One day culminated in an unforgettable boat trip along the Moskva River, offering panoramic views of the capital, including the futuristic towers of Moscow City.

In addition, the participants and delegates of the Contest touched the world of high art at the Bolshoi Theater, where they enjoyed the school of classical Russian ballet thanks to the production of “Swan Lake”. The Bolshoi Theatre is one of the world’s main opera and ballet centers. The production of “Swan Lake” by composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky has been staged on this historical stage for more than a hundred years: the premiere took place here in 1877. Since then, Swan Lake has remained the hallmark of the Bolshoi Theatre and is among the top most popular ballets in the world.

This year, 23 countries, including the BRICS, CIS, Latin America, the Middle East, and the United States, will participate in the International Music Contest “Intervision”. The final of the Contest will be held on September 20, 2025 at the Live Arena in Moscow.
