Singer, vocalist, and instrumentalist Zulema Iglesias Salazar will represent Cuba at the International music competition Intervision’25 in Moscow.
Zulema began her artistic career in 1982 at the age of 12 as an amateur performer. She won awards at festivals and competitions, and her first compositions emerged during this period. In 1990, she formed the duo “Los Hermanos Iglesias” with her brother, and in 1994, she became a professional artist with the trio “Iglesias”.
Zulema Iglesias Salazar has been awarded the Order “For Achievementsin National Culture.”
So far, the representatives of five countries have been announced. Russia will be represented by singer SHAMAN, who will perform the song “STRAIGHT TO THE HEART”, composed by Maxim Fadeev. Belarus will be represented by singer Nastya Kravchenko, while the trio “Nomad” and Omar Acedo will represent Kyrgyzstan and Venezuela, respectively.
More than 20 countries from BRICS, the CIS, Latin America, Asia, and Africa will take part in the competition. The Intervision’25 final will be held on September 20 at Moscow’s Live Arena venue.
