Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, singer Pelageya, has become the Ambassador of the International Music Contest “Intervision»”.
“It’s a great honor for me to become an ambassador of this grand contest, to be involved in this parade of musical cultures. I have dedicated my whole life to folk songs, and I know for sure that music is the shortest and most honest path to people’s hearts. Through it, you can tell a lot about yourself, about your people, about your country. To share the best thoughts and ideas through such ‘people’s diplomacy,'” the singer noted.
Pelageya is a Russian singer who became popular thanks to her unique style of performing folk songs and romances in a folk-rock style. She has shone on stage since childhood, performing for top state officials and participating in the most popular projects.
“As an Ambassador, I will strive to convey this global idea of ‘Intervision’ to everyone. We look forward to seeing you all in Russia on September 20th for a celebration of music!” Pelageya clarified.
This year, 21 countries will take part in the International Music Contest “Intervision”, including BRICS countries, CIS countries, Latin America, the Middle East, and the USA. The final of the International Contest will take place on September 20, 2025, at the Live Arena venue in Moscow.
