The representative of Uzbekistan, Shohruh Mirzo Ganiyev, will perform at the International Music Contest “Intervision” with the song “Milliy Terma.”
The musician’s entire creative path is illuminated by a special, reverent attitude toward the national music of his homeland, to which he has devoted himself since his youth. At the Fergana Music College named after Tavakkal Kadyrov, he studied Uzbek maqom – the classic of the Eastern musical tradition. A deep knowledge of the foundations of national culture helped Shohruh form his performing style, combining traditional motifs with elements of pop music. In addition, the musician is highly skilled at playing the folk percussion instrument doira.
The contest song with which Shohruh Mirzo Ganiyev will appear on the “Intervision” stage is a beautiful example of the harmonious combination of Uzbek national melody and modern sound. This year, 23 countries will take part in the International Music Contest “Intervision”, including BRICS nations, CIS countries, Latin America, the Middle East, and the USA. The Contest final will be held on September 20, 2025, at the “Live Arena” venue in Moscow
